Trivia

General This episode's name card is similar to that of "Culture Shock," simplest this one is in widescreen. In the primary shot of the interior of the Krusty Krab, the roof above the kitchen/place of business is product of metal. However, in "Squidtastic Voyage," the roof of the kitchen/administrative center is manufactured from the picket from the ground of the Krusty Krab. When SpongeBob tells Mr. Krabs to "bring it around town," this can be a reference to the bubble-blowing method in "Bubblestand." The closing time SpongeBob may just make different-shaped faces used to be in "Face Freeze!" This episode displays that Tom Kenny is extremely proficient in doing the entire impressions of the characters very similar to how Mel Blanc did the impressions of the Looney Tunes characters. In this episode, Patrick eats food from the rubbish in front of the Krusty Krab. Usually, he does so in the dumpster behind the restaurant. In the original storyboard, when Sandy and Plankton are taking part in chess and SpongeBob mimics them, Karen comes out of the Chum Bucket and laughs at SpongeBob's influence of Plankton. She does now not appear within the final minimize. This episode marks the one instance so far the place the French Narrator without delay talks to SpongeBob. The fourth wall is broken right here. Ironically, SpongeBob and the French Narrator are both voiced through Tom Kenny. When SpongeBob uncontrollably imitates his pals at his house, when he imitates Plankton, he says, "I went to college!" This is a connection with a quote from the episode "Plankton!," the place Plankton makes his debut. The episode "Friend or Foe" is referenced in the music "Who Am I?" when SpongeBob sings "Am I friend... Or foe?" This and "House Worming" were the primary season 10 episodes to premiere in 2017, as part of the Saturday Morning Hang Zone with Lincoln Loud match. This is the second episode where Mr. Krabs gets painted with gold. The first is "The Masterpiece." To date, that is the ultimate episode to use the track "Marlin March."Cultural references When imitating the French Narrator, SpongeBob wears a pink beanie and has gray hair on his head, similar to the French filmmaker Jacques Cousteau.Errors As Mr. Krabs is talking with SpongeBob and Squidward, Squidward is wakeful, frowning (like usual), but if he goes to slap SpongeBob and Squidward, Squidward is asleep with a mask of him smiling. Also, when Mr. Krabs takes to the air Squidward's mask, the latter still seems smiling for a couple of frames. When Mr. Krabs walks into his administrative center, he walks in just like the door is closed and he is opening it. Plankton's king isn't there. In chess, the only approach to win is to checkmate the king, not seize, and Plankton's king used to be also lacking, so he must have misplaced. The wrinkles on Squidward's forehead are missing. When Mr. Krabs says, "All right, you scurvy dogs, SpongeBob needs us, and more importantly, I need him... to stop imitating me customers!," Squidward is proven and not using a brow wrinkles. The scene before he says this, Plankton is nowhere to be observed prior to the scene starts (the image on the right, beneath the Squidward's wrinkles error picture). SpongeBob's home is lacking one of the vital windows and then it reappears. During the intervention, the bottom proper window on SpongeBob's house is missing, after which it reappears. In the similar scene, Plankton is nowhere to be seen, however then he all at once seems within the subsequent shot. In the French dub, there's no supervising manufacturer credit. This was once in all probability a mistake from the editor.[3] SpongeBob's mirrored image mouth is open, however the true SpongeBob's mouth is closed. In the song "Who Am I?," when is SpongeBob is a pineapple, for a break up second within the reflection SpongeBob's mouth is open, however the real SpongeBob's mouth is closed. During the track "Who Am I?," SpongeBob's impressions hit their heads on his bell hand, however as they ring it, SpongeBob's Sandy does not ring it nor seem. When SpongeBob says, "I don't know!" while the digital camera zooms out, his legs are somewhat too thick. Also, he is back to his commonplace self.
